What many people will never see, however, is the extraordi- nary amount of effort required behind the scenes to bring a project of this scale to life. The coordination effort has been truly national in scope. The production involves op- erators and vessels from multiple regions, with filming in Chicago, Seattle, and New York to showcase the diverse op- erating environments that exist across the passenger vessel industry. Every location, vessel, crew member, and filming day must be carefully planned to ensure that the finished product is both accurate and representative of our industry and association. A project of this magnitude would not be possible with- out strong industry partnership. The working group has been fortunate to collaborate with PVA associate mem- ber Moxie Media, whose professionalism and expertise have helped elevate this project far beyond traditional training videos. Led by Martin Glenday and Joseph Bi- envenu, the Moxie team brings decades of experience in maritime training, instructional design, and educational content production. Their ability to translate complex vessel operations into engaging, concise, and effective learning tools has been invaluable throughout the devel- opment process. From the earliest planning sessions through script devel- opment and production logistics, Moxie Media has con- sistently demonstrated a commitment to understanding the unique needs of the passenger vessel industry. Rather than creating generic training materials, they have worked alongside the working group to ensure the content reflects the realities faced by crews every day. That collaborative ap- proach has transformed Moxie from a production vendor into a true partner in this initiative. The result will be stronger training programs, better prepared crews, and ultimately safer operations for passengers and employees alike.
