mean they can maintain the boats themselves. They will 
have the knowledge and in-house talent to fix or repair 
anything that needs attention over the vessels’ lifespans. 
With the warehouse, they also have the indoor boat build-
ing space to do so. 
Being sister ships is also a significant improvement when it 
comes to maintaining the vessels. The current vessels are 
quite different which means needing unique spare parts 
for each. Although they may make slight adjustments on 
Holo Mua after they begin operating Holo Nui, the ships 
will be close enough to identical to make maintenance 
much more efficient. 
With maintenance in mind, they limited the amount of 
stainless steel on the vessels. As this material rusts over 
time, they took it out of the equation whenever possible, 
doing gunnel walls instead of railings for example. Chan-
