Navigating your Aon Risk Solutions Marine More 2018 Noteworthy Passenger Vessels in Service, Thanks to PVA Associate Members All American Marine delivered a whale watching and eco-tour vessel operating on Puget Sound, WA, that featured Beurteaux North America seating, Scania engines, HamiltonJet waterjets and gearboxes, and a Northern Lights genset. A Georgia resort is the proud owner of a 71-foot passenger vessel designed by DeJong & Lebet. A pair of John Deere engines power the vessel aided by ZF gearboxes and controls, while electri- cal power is provided by two Kohler gensets. Elliott Bay Design Group, Twin Disc, and Cummins were involved in a build in the Buy America program of a passenger/vehicle hybrid-electric ferry in Texas. Coming in just under 160 feet, the ferry is able to carry 149 passengers and 28 vehicles. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a new research vessel thanks to Metal Shark, Caterpillar and Twin Disc.
