Vessel owners and operators, marine architects, designers, naval engineers, shipbuilders, engine manufacturers, seating manufacturers, HVAC installers, ceiling and flooring suppliers and more all benefit from every new passenger vessel built. Of course, the customers— passengers—who purchase tickets for a ride on a passenger vessel also benefit greatly from a type of transportation that is quickly becoming a preferred mode for many who are opting to travel on scenic waterways and avoid road gridlock. This list is a partial one of new vessels entering service this year, adding to the U.S. passenger vessel fleet some of the safest, environmentally compliant, and technologically innovative vessels in the world.
