MTU also powers the Steamship Authority’s Iyanough and M/V Governor. Up the coast from Martha’s Vineyard is Boston Harbor Cruises’ Salacia. The largest and fastest passenger catamaran in the country, this vessel brings vacationers and locals alike to Cape Cod. Salacia’s service is powered by four EPA Tier 3 MTU 16V 400 M64 diesel engines. The Salacia is the first EPA Tier 3 certified emissions level vessel operating in Boston Harbor.
