Seastreak to Receive Newest Vessel this Spring Seastreak, LLC, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, is pleased with its newest vessel, Seastreak Commodore, which launched on March 19 in Franklin, LA, where it was built. The new ferry will begin service in late April or early May in the New York/New Jersey area. Designed by PVAAssociate member Incat Crowther, the 600-passenger vessel “will be the highest passenger capacity USCG K-class high-speed ferry in the United States,” according to Brett Chamberlain, Seastreak’s Marketing Director. As is so often the case, a number of PVAAssociate members were involved in the creation of Seastreak Commodore.
