20 OCTOBER 2017 • FOGHORN CONVENTIONREPORT G host tours are designed for those brave souls who are willing to risk the ire of spirits who haunt houses and buildings long after they’ve left their earthly bodies behind. During one such evening walking tour years ago in Savannah, in which an informative guide shared ghastly tales of ghouls from centuries ago, I was struck by a powerful force—the beauty of this city! And, I’m looking forward to returning in January for the PVAAnnual Convention at MariTrends 2018. Getting Around Getting to Savannah is easy. The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is serviced byAir Canada,Allegiant,American, Delta, JetBlue, Sun Country, and United airlines. Or, for those who love to drive, Savannah is right off I-95, the interstate that runs the entire East Coast, from Maine to Florida. Once in Savannah, getting around is a breeze. The Savannah River is a major thoroughfare within the city, so jump on a water taxi to explore this Things to See and Do in Savannah, Host City of the PVA Annual Convention at MariTrends 2018 By Karen Rainbolt, FOGHORN Managing Editor
