Casey Harrington, a native of Bainbridge Island, WA, returns to the area to become Kitsap Transit’s first Marine Service Directors. In this role, Harrington will lead the agency’s launch of its fast-ferry service. Kitsap Transit has been operating public transit since 1983. The Bremerton-based transit agency for Kitsap County carried more than 3.8million riders last year across a multi-modal system of routed buses, paratransit shuttles, vanpools, worker/driver buses and a passenger- only ferry service.
