Marine Learning Systems will also collect feedback from members regarding course content and quizzes for use by the PVASafety and Security Committee. This will allow the committee to focus future training improvements where it’s most needed. Each vessel operating company within PVA will have a unique user login and password. Larger companies will be able to get ad- ditional logins in order to facilitate training. The website to the PVA Learning Management System will be available on the Member Resources side of the PVA website. Only members in good standing will be able to access the PVA Learning Management System. The PVA Safety and Security Committee will look for opportu- nities to add content to the online training resource library appro- priate for the domestic passenger vessel fleet. The committee welcomes suggestions from members on appropriate content. The traditional DVDs and manuals will still be available to PVA members for a small fee as before, but with the content available online we hope this improves the usefulness and access to training materials. To access the online training materials, go to http://www.passengerves- sel.com/member-resources. html#safetysecurity and click “Access Tools” to sign in with your user ID and password on the Member Download page. If you have any questions about the PVA Learning Management System or need login assistance, please contact Eric Christensen of the PVA staff at 1-800-807- 8360 ext. 26 or echristensen@ passengervessel.com. n
