Mr. Bryan, former CEO of Seattle-based Victoria Clipper Ferry and now acting Chairman of Interferry at the Seattle Propeller Club’s received the award on May 20 at the annual Maritime Week breakfast attended by 325 guests. The award, which recognizes either a long and distinguished career or a specific achievement, was awarded to him for his 30 years of service to the maritime industry and his efforts to expand employment, particularly for youth, and tourism opportunities in the Puget Sound region. The keynote speaker at the breakfast was Washington’s U.S. Senator Patty Murray, a long-time advocate of regional ports, shipyards, ferries, and the U.S.-Flag Merchant Marine.
