CRONIN has 23 years of commercial maritime experience sailing in the passenger vessel industry skippering ferries, stern wheelers, harbor tugs in tour service, and charter auxiliary sail vessels. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, has studied at Northeast Maritime Institute, and has also studied in the LSU / Workboat Strategic Maritime Leadership Program. He is a member of the PVA Safety and Security Committee and presented a session on maintenance at the PVA Annual Convention at MariTrends 2016. CAPT. BEAU PAYNE has 12 years of commercial maritime experience in both the deck and engine departments. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice and has studied at both Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Northeast Maritime Institute. Though no longer sailing professionally, Capt.
