Glosten has been awarded a contract with fellow PVA member the North Carolina Ferry Division, the second-largest state run ferry system in the country.
The contract is for the design of a 220’, shallow-draft, 50-car ferry built to U.S. Coast Guard Subchapter H requirements for service between Swan Quarter, Ocracoke, and Cedar Island.
The new vessel will strengthen their fleet and enhance reliable transportation across coastal communities. More details will be shared as the project advances.
