American Cruise Lines will launch 11 new cruise itineraries and welcome three new vessels to its fleet in 2026. Sailing year-round, the company looks to honor the country’s 250th birthday with its portfolio of domestic cruises exploring the nation from coast to coast. Its vessels will visit nearly 200 ports-of-call in the country next year alone.
The new cruises include offerings on the Great Lakes, the Arkansas River, and the Gulf Coast. The company recently added cruises exploring several national parks visiting such locations as Mount Rainier and North Cascades National Park. Every itinerary includes a hotel stay and at least one complimentary excursion at each port.
American Encore will be the newest addition to the company’s American Riverboat line and will begin sailing in May 2026 along the Columbia and Snake Rivers. This series of vessels accommodates 180 guest and has all private balcony staterooms. A main restaurant, casual café, fitness center, and top deck walking track are among the amenities featured on the ship.
Two small coastal ships will join the American Cruise Lines Patriot Class series. American Maverick launching in June 2026, and American Ranger launching in September, will be the third and fourth vessels respectively to be added to this class. The ships carry just 130 guests and feature all private balcony state rooms. They offer multiple dining options, a top deck lounge, and elevator to all decks, as well as additional amenities.
