New Catamaran Joins the Fleet at Kauai Sea Tours for Year-round Operation

Kauai Sea Tours in Hawaii has welcomed a new luxury catamaran to its fleet offering tours along Kauai’s iconic Nā Pali Coast. The 65ʹ Lady Kailani was designed by global digital shipbuilder Incat Crowther and was built and delivered by Louisiana shipyard Breaux Brothers Enterprises. The addition has allowed the operator to expand to year-round tourism experiences in Kauai, Hawaii.

The multifunctional vessel has been designed to provide a high-end, immersive tourism experience. Lady Kailani boasts a custom hydraulic swim platform providing effortless snorkeling and ocean access, two water slides, and two freshwater showers which are located on either side of the vessel’s swim platform.

The Subchapter T vessel can carry up to 149 guests across three decks, each offering 360° ocean views. Passengers can enjoy protected outdoor seating areas on the main and upper decks, an upper deck V.I.P. dining area, and a shaded helm lounge where guests can ride alongside the captain. The expansive bow also offers a safe, open-air viewing area as well.

Additional features include a large interior galley for an elevated on-board dining experience, a walk-up bar and two accessible bathrooms on the vessel’s main deck, and a sound system for narration and music.

Grant Pecoraro, Incat Crowther’s managing director for North America said: “Lady Kailani has been designed to not only provide a world-class tourism experience, but to be a robust, safe and operationally capable vessel. Our U.S.-based team of naval architects worked closely with Breaux Brothers and Kauai Sea Tours throughout the design process to turn the operator’s vision into a reality. The result is a truly unique vessel that is tailored specifically to Kauai Sea Tours’ operations and enables them to expand their award-winning services further.”

Powered by dual X15 Cummins engines, Lady Kailani has the ability to reach speeds of up to 24 knots.
