UnCruise Adventures UnCruise Adventures is a small, overnight adventure cruise ship operator based in Seattle with offices in Juneau, AK. Since 1966, UnCruise Adventures’ fleet of eight boutique yachts and small ships carry 22 to 88 guests on adventure and river cruises along the West Coast of the Americas. In January, company founder Dan Blanchard spoke at the PVA Green WATERS Conference in Seattle. His inspiring presentation, “Protecting Pristine Places by Being a Green Ambassador,” motivated attendees with his energetic talk about how UnCruise Adventures doesn’t just show passengers natural beauty, it takes them right into it and educates and expects each guest to do their part to preserve fragile ecosystems, which includes picking up trash at every stop or wherever debris is noticed. Responsible travel is a tenet of the operation with care taken to protect and preserve communities and the environment.
