b'MEMBER NEWSMEMBERS NEWSPVA Member Larry Ferreira Passes Away O n Wednesday May 4, 2022, Lawrence Ste-phen Ferreira passed away at home after a battle with cancer. Larry grew up in Falmouth, Mass., and attend-ed Boston College followed by Suffolk Law School. He entered the FBI in May of 1975 andwasarearmsinstructor,earningmany accolades as a Special Agent in the Mafia and OrganizedCrimeUnit.Heretiredin2003 after 28 years ofservice. After his retirement from the FBI, he accepted a job at the Woods HoleSteamshipAuthorityastheDirector of Security, where he remained until his final retirement in 2020. He was an active member of the PVA Regulatory Committee. LarrywaspredeceasedbyhiswifeSally,in August 2021, after 50 years of marriage. He Charting New Waters leaves behind two daughters, Alison Wells and her Husband Damien and Bethany Kerins and her husband Brian, both of Falmouth.
